Chicago native and New York transplant Honey Dijon brings the old school house flavor the windy city is known for on her latest single “Until The Day” on Toolroom, featuring pioneer diva vocalist Dajae (“Brighter Days”). Honey’s arsenal of musical influence includes house heavyweights and friend Derrick Carter, Frankie Knuckles and Mark Farina. Her sound is deep Chicago dusted with the New York underground that made the ‘90s memorable. When Honey’s not DJing for fashion set’s most sought after events (think Chloe, Hermes and Narciso Rodriguez), she’s producing, remixing, and holding down NY residencies at “Clubber Down Disco” (she’s palying tonight, see dates below) and “Haus” at Cielo nightclub, where she plays everything from Salsol and West End classics, to Boompty and soulful house.
