Ableton Live’s latest update, version 11.3.10, is now live for the software and its hardware counterpart, Push. Touted as a free enhancement, this version boasts substantial upgrades primarily centered around the auto-warping functionality’s speed, accuracy, and efficiency across various audio materials. Alongside this, the standalone Push variant has received several stability improvements and bug fixes, ensuring a more seamless experience for users.

Ableton Live Updates

The enhancements in Live 11.3.10 are manifold. For starters, users with Cloud features enabled will now experience a redesigned landing view when they select the Cloud label without logging in. The Core Library has undergone adjustments, particularly concerning Note Pitch Bend settings in MIDI clip presets. The ability to control ‘Drift’ through Max for Live has also been added. Furthermore, users can now find default values in Drift’s Stereo and Unison modes. To facilitate ease of use, clickable links in the Help View lessons redirect users to the online manual on Ableton’s official site. The bundled Max has also been updated to version 8.5.5.

But it’s not all about the new features; Ableton has significantly emphasized fixing bugs and refining its performance. Auto-Warp received a notable amount of attention in this domain. Issues causing Live to hang during browsing, speed lags in set loading, noise artifacts on Apple silicon computers, and UI lags during sample recordings have been addressed. Moreover, the enhanced Auto-Warp ensures more precise warping of samples created at a constant tempo.

Ableton Push 3 Updates

Push 3, the hardware extension of Ableton Live, is not left behind in this update. With its software package updated to version 1.3.0, Push 3 introduces ‘User Mode’, which allows users to repurpose Push’s built-in functions to control alternate tasks in Live or other software applications.

Browse Mode also received several enhancements, such as displaying Packs within the Packs folder and improvements in icon design. Other notable updates include the option to set global launch quantization and improved discoverability of available Push units in Live’s browser.
