Prolific deep house maestro Ian Storm, renowned for his chart-topping hits and millions of streams, introduces a fresh sound with his latest release, “Sometimes”, in collaboration with lawyer Peter Schouten. Ian, whose tracks have been featured by industry titans like Sam Feldt, Hugel, The Him, and Autograf, takes us on a musical journey, merging foot-tapping beats with a noble cause.

Pre-Save ‘Sometimes’ Here

“Sometimes” isn’t just a nod to the new wave dance trend. It has a driving off-beat bass line that drives the track forward and creates a driving foundation from which the drifting and uplifting vocal can chime in over the top. The vocals themselves are what caught us by surprise, as they have a chipper sentimentality that harkens back to the glory days of dance music in the early 2000s and late 90s.

Drawing cues from Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia, this track signals a pivotal moment in dance music, aligning with the future’s sound. But what makes it truly special is its intent. Each note resonates with Ian’s passion not just for music but also for making a difference.

Peter Schouten, celebrated for his annual charity drives for Breda’s homeless, joins Ian to turn “Sometimes” into a vehicle for change. Portions of the track’s proceeds are dedicated to supporting Breda’s homeless, and another part bolsters Team Thomas’s commendable work.

In the backdrop of Ian’s soaring career, marked by the launch of ‘Storm Music Group’ in 2019 and his rave concept ‘Limited Edition’, “Sometimes” emerges as yet another testament to his genius. As Ian continues to shape the deep house scene, this track shows that his influence isn’t limited to just beats—it’s about creating waves of positive impact.
