Berlin-based ADAM Audio is set to showcase two new releases—the H200 closed-back studio headphones and the D3V desktop monitoring system—at an exclusive event at Amsterdam’s Cruise Control Studios during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024. In collaboration with Amptec, ADAM Audio will offer hands-on listening sessions and a glimpse into the studio’s cutting-edge 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system.

The event takes place on Thursday, October 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., welcoming audio professionals, music creators, and sound enthusiasts. Drinks and refreshments will be available, and space is limited for this one-of-a-kind experience. In addition to hearing ADAM Audio’s latest gear, attendees will preview unreleased music from artists represented by the renowned LittleBig agency.

H200 Studio Headphones: Precision and Versatility

Developed in ADAM Audio’s newly expanded R&D facility in Berlin, the H200 studio headphones are designed for audio professionals seeking precision and comfort. The closed-back design offers detailed isolation, ideal for both studio recording and critical mixing.

One of the standout features is the integration with a custom-built Headphone Utility plug-in, developed in partnership with award-winning plug-in maker Sonnox. This plug-in extends the H200’s versatility, featuring an Externalization function that aids users in achieving accurate translations between headphone mixes and loudspeaker outputs. Whether for music production or audio engineering, the H200 promises clarity, balance, and a smooth listening experience.

D3V Desktop Monitoring System: Performance Meets Convenience

The D3V, unveiled just days earlier at AES 2024 in New York, brings ADAM Audio’s signature audio performance to smaller setups. Designed for producers, songwriters, and music lovers working in compact spaces, the D3V monitors pack powerful sound into a small form factor. Each monitor houses a 3.5-inch woofer, ADAM Audio’s signature AMT tweeters, and dual passive radiators that deliver extended bass response down to 45 Hz.

With a modern USB-C input, the D3V also doubles as a high-quality audio interface, keeping audio signals in the digital domain for pristine playback. Available in sleek black or white finishes, the D3V combines aesthetics with audio engineering for those looking to elevate their desktop studio setups.

A Glimpse into ADAM Audio’s Legacy

Since its founding in 1999, ADAM Audio has earned a reputation for crafting monitors known for their transparency and precision. At the heart of their success lies the proprietary X-ART and S-ART tweeter technology, which extends frequency response and ensures superior efficiency compared to traditional dome tweeters. Hand-assembled and tested meticulously in Berlin, these drivers reflect ADAM Audio’s commitment to quality, standing apart in an industry dominated by automated production processes.

In recent years, ADAM Audio has become part of the Focusrite Group, further expanding its global reach. With distributors and dealers spanning over 75 countries, the brand continues to serve audio professionals worldwide, delivering equipment that meets the demands of modern music production and live sound.
