With Summer in the rear-view mirror, our favorites are back in the studio churning out even greater tunes that dig a bit deeper than your typical, catchy anthem. Jimpster and Red Rack ‘Em fall into that deeper spectrum. While the new ones from Duck Sauce and ANOTR are sure to get pigeonholed as late Summer anthems. But if you ask me, these are the heaters that fly below the radar strictly for the cognoscenti.

Keep up with all of the tracks to hit the house chart so far this year:

1. “DREAMING” – PHILIPPA & JIMPSTER FT. CARE [FREERANGE RECORDS]

Jimpster & Philippa’s magical single, “Dreaming” serves as the landmark 300th release for Freerange Records. The indie house label co-founded by Jamie Odell that has truly stayed the course since all the way back in 1996. A remarkable feat considering all of the changes in media and technology since then.

2. “ITALO DISCO BANGER” – RED RACK’EM [BERGERAC]

Seven years after he dropped the underground whopper, “Wonky Bassline Disco Banger,” Red Rack’em is still hammering out edgy tunes that pay respect to the classics while injecting modern production techniques that set him apart from the rest.

3. “THROUGH THE WINDOWS” – FRANCIS HARRIS, PHILIPP PRIEBE, SOELA [SCISSOR & THREAD]

As Soela explains, “I was dealing with some very complex feelings, so I came up with this album, which helped me not to despair, to work on myself, to grow internally, and to start listening to myself. It helped me to keep sane when my country invaded Ukraine with a full scale war. It absolutely broke my heart, and music was one of my main salvations.”

4. “FALLIN IN LOVE” – DUCK SAUCE [D4 D4NCE]

Duck Sauce is the gift that just keeps on giving and giving. And if this were just tad slower, this would be the track of the year for yours truly.

5. “24 (TURN IT UP)” – ANOTR FEAT. KURTIS WELLS [NO ART]

Showing up a little late to the Summer party is yet another five-star gem from ANOTR along with Trinidad and Tobago-born, Kurtis Wells.

6. “NEW YORK MADNESS” – SAMARAN [SPACE DESIGNER]

1992 in the house on this playful throwback courtesy of Parisian producer, Samaran.

7. “NEVERENDER (RAMPA REMIX)” – JUSTICE, TAME IMPALA [GENESIS]

Heat, on top of heat, on top of heat right here as Keinemusik‘s Rampa does what he does best with the sparkling “Neverender” by Justice and Tame Impala. Certainly one of the best remixes of 2024 that your ears deserve on the heels of Summer.

8. “GOOD 4 U” – LUUK VAN DIJK, KOLTER [THREE SIX ZERO]

Four years after Paul Woolford took a swing on this 1992 anthem, this in-demand pairing sees the duo deliver a high-tempo, modern flip that falls in line with the sound of now.

9. “EMORIÔ” – MAZ, ANTDOT, JÉSSICA GASPAR [DAWN PATROL RECORDS]

Soft and sensual afro house right here from three artists out of Brazil who are setting house the scene on fire with hit after hit. More to come.

10. “CAN’T GET ENOUGH! (PRUNK EXTENDED REMIX)” – SOULSEARCHER [DEFECTED]

“For me, it’s more than just music—the original is one of the tracks that shaped me as an artist and house music in general.” – Prunk

11. “STREET TUFF” – DOUBLE TROUBLE, REBEL MC, KOREY [NEW STATE MUSIC]

1989’s hip-house hit, “Street Tuff” gets a 2024 update that instantly teleports it to today.

12. “FAMAX (FRANKY RIZARDO REMIX)” – RAFFA GUIDO [THREE SIX ZERO]

It was only a matter of time to ’til Raffa Guido‘s “Famax” crossed over into the refined barriers of house music. And Franky Rizardo did the honors with his high-tempo revision that deserves the spotlight this month.

13. “HIGH” – VINTAGE CULTURE & VINTER [HOT CREATIONS]
