Output, a global leader in music creation software, has launched Output CoLAB, a community-driven program designed to connect up-and-coming music makers with meaningful opportunities, resources, and mentorship from top music industry veterans. The program kicks off with Grammy Award-winning songwriting and production duos Nova Wav and Stargate.
Nova Wav and Stargate: Industry Giants Join CoLAB
Nova Wav and Stargate are celebrated names in music production. Nova Wav, recognized for their work with artists like Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Beyoncé, contributed to Beyoncé’s recent albums Cowboy Carter (2024) and Renaissance (2022). Stargate, best known for their prolific contributions to pop, R&B, and hip-hop, are behind major hits like Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable,” Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music” and “Diamonds,” and Ne-Yo’s “So Sick.”

Output has spent the last decade creating tools designed for musicians, by musicians. In a recent survey, the company found that most rising music creators are looking for stronger professional relationships in the industry to support their growth. Recognizing this need, CoLAB offers an opportunity to bridge that gap by connecting emerging artists with seasoned mentors.

Summer 2024: A Big Opportunity for Artists
In summer 2024, Output and Stargate launched a contest for one artist to earn a spot in LAAMP’s six-week online program. The session includes collaborations and workshops with music heavyweights like Benny Blanco, Emily Warren, Ne-Yo, and others.
To celebrate CoLAB’s launch, Output is also offering one lucky winner a trip to Los Angeles, time in a world-class recording studio, and direct mentorship. Partners like De-Fi, Novation, Shure, and Range Music will lend their expertise to support the program.
